Planned Giving

History Center Exhibits-38

A carefully considered, planned gift to Historical Society of Central Florida can secure excellence for future generations while honoring your legacy in perpetuity. There are many ways to give, which enables us to provide professional, confidential assistance in planning your gift. Some options include:

  • Outright Gifts – benefit you and HSCF immediately. These may be in the form of cash, stock or securities, real estate, etc.
  • Estate Gifts – benefit you and HSCF upon your passing. These may be in the form of bequests in wills, gifts of life insurance, gifts of retirement plans, etc.
  • Life Income Gifts – benefit you and SPC both now and upon your passing. You will receive the security of a lifetime income. These may be in the form of life estates in property, charitable remainder trusts or unitrusts, charitable remainder annuity trusts, IRA rollovers, etc.

Bequests

By including a bequest to the HSCF in your will or living trust, you are ensuring that we can continue our mission for years to come. Your gift also entitles your estate to an unlimited federal estate tax charitable deduction.

Beneficiary Designation

Passionate about supporting the Historical Society of Central Florida with our mission even after your lifetime? It’s not only possible, it’s easy to do with a beneficiary designation. Just name the Society as a beneficiary to receive assets such as retirement plans and life insurance policies after you’re gone. You simply fill out a form that is entirely separate from your will – which makes this approach an easy way to give.

Not only is it an easy way to give, but it’s also flexible – you aren’t locked into the choices you make today. You can review and adjust beneficiary designations anytime you want.
